Week 5 Recap

BMuz Game of the Week

Malden Cavaliers (3-2) defeated Pepperell Patriots (2-3)

Led by FF’s #1 QB, his excellent waiver/FA adds (Darkwa, Dickson, Jake Elliot), and down his top RBs (Devonta, Thompson), Ebad won the Game of the Week by a convincing margin.

Remaining Games

Boston Baingans (3-2) defeated Franklin Raekwons (3-2)

Down Gronk and Ty Montgomery, Omar showed a lot of heart this week and eeked out a win against HSid. After starting 3-0, HSid has slowed down in the last two weeks and his affinity for Sammy Watkins might be to blame.

Chappaqua GOATs (4-1) defeated New England Double Terriers (0-5)

It was a bittersweet victory for the GOATs. Although they put up another monster week, they lost a WR1, Odell Beckham, and another RB, Chris Johnson. Meanwhile, the Double Terriers still couldn’t catch a break and drop to 0-5.

Chicago 7-6ers (4-1) defeated Lowell Panthers (1-4)

The 7-6ers showed they can win a game without a monster performance from Todd Gurley…and they have Dashaun Watson to thank for that. The Lowell Panthers have brighter days ahead as Alvin Kamara’s workload is about to skyrocket.

Old Tappan J-E-T-S (5-0) defeated Waco White Walkers (2-3)

Boston OakTrees (2-3) defeated Dublin #McNuggets (3-2)

Melvin Gordon finally broke out and the rest of his starters did enough to mask the awfulness of Big Ben. The #McNuggets didn’t get much from their WR trio of Jordy, Devante, and Alshon and that meant dropping to 3-2.

Lexington Mughals (2-3) defeated Mubarakstan UoMs (2-3)

The pick up of Aaron Jones was the difference here, as the Mughals won this close match up against a UofMs team that had some critical players on bye.

Bloomfield Cowboys (3-2) defeated Chelmsford Charawalas (1-4)

Week 1 of Qasim’s play for tomorrow and today strategy was a success as he improved to 3-2 on the year. While the Charawalas drop to 1-4, their future looks bright with McKinnon taking ownership of the Vikings backfield and Willie Snead returning to the Saints lineup.
