Week 11 Recap:
BMuz Game of the Week
Chicago 7-6ers (8-3) defeated Chelmsford Charawalas (6-5)
It’s over. After seven years, Ahsan will finally have more than seven wins in a season. At least one glass ceiling was broken in 2016. The Charawalas meanwhile are struggling at the wrong time having dropped 2 of 3. They’ll likely need to win out against the Double Terriers and Raekwons in order to win a playoff berth.
Games to Watch
Chappaqua GOATs (7-4) defeated Old Tappan J-E-T-S (8-3)
The GOATs got a combined 92 pts from its QB and 2 RBs and cruised to an easy victory over their division rival. Too bad two of those three are Redskins players. Must feel dirty winning that way. Hasan was definitely right though, the GOATs are circling on all cylinders or whatever and have put up ~137 points in consecutive weeks. The J-E-T-S will likely have to win out otherwise the GOATs should be able to secure the Klay division due to their significant advantage in total points.
Boston Baingans (4-7) defeated Dublin #McNuggets (6-5)
Pepperell Patriots (4-7) defeated Lexington Mughals (6-5)
Both lesser siblings took out the greater sibling to ensure the drama around the KD division continues for another week. Week 11 saw the #McNuggets lose four of its starter in Andrew Luck, CJ Prosise, Lesean McCoy, and Gio Bernard in a loss against the Baingans. The Mughals weren’t able to capitalize and grab the division lead. Decisions such as benching Jordan Matthews for Damien Williams suggest that this team may not be suited for the playoffs. Whichever team secures the WC1 position will essentially have a bye week in the first round of the playoffs against the KD division winner.
Franklin Raekwons (2-9) defeated New England Double Terriers (6-5)
Called it. The Raekwons played the best game of their season and subsequently took down a BMuz behemoth. The Double Terriers, down Julio Jones and Demaryius Thomas, did not get enough production from their late season acquisitions DeAndre Hopkins and Greg Olsen to make up for their bye week blues. Sulreeb are trending in the wrong direction at a critical point in the season. A loss this week would all but eliminate them from playoff contention yielding in a very low ROI for this season.
Mubarakstan University of Mubaraks (7-4) defeated Malden Cavaliers (3-8)
Aasim’s Mubaraks continue to surprise the league. With only one RB and a cluster of WR2s, they are now 4-0 in their division and have a chance to take control of the Steph division this weekend. Dak Prescott is carrying both the Cowboys and Aasim on his back. Yet another Giants fan relying on a division rival to carry their fantasy football team. You people make me sick.
Boston OakTrees (8-3) vs. Worcester Nation of Muazination (3-8)
Good game Oak. The OakTrees were back to their winning ways after a devastating loss against the J-E-T-S. They are the clear favorites as we head into the playoffs after putting up 121 points against the NoM despite having Melvin Gordon on bye. Oak’s OakTrees should be able to tree-handle the Mubaraks this week as he looks to clinch the Steph division.
Lowell Panthers (4-7) defeated Bloomfield Cowboys (6-5)
After putting up 59 and 66 points the past two weeks, Bakr’s Panthers exploded this week with 141 points against a Cowboys team that desperately needed a win. Q’s frustration over the surprise loss was clearly evident as he deflected blame by lashing out on the BMuz commissioner and stating that he “puts people in the league to rip them off.” (as reported by BMuz gossip queen, Oak Abdelkader). Ebad’s been in this league since 2011 and this was the first trade between the J-E-T-S and Cavaliers. True story.
